Stuart’s Home Gym
Stuart had the benefit of a workplace gym, but following his retirement decided to invest in his very own gym as part of a larger house renovation to maintain his fitness routine from home.
After retiring, Stuart put down the weights and his structured training transitioned to only include running—something he wanted to change.
“After I retired I stopped training in a gym and just ran outdoors. Now I can mix it up and spend some days outside and some days in the gym.”
His fitness goals were broad, but defined, and he knew from the outset that he wanted the capacity to train either solo or with a partner.
“I was looking for a gym that gave me the ability to do a full body workout. In addition, I wanted cardio equipment. I wanted a pair of treadmills and a pair of spin bikes so I could train with a second person.”
Choosing Fitness Superstore
Stuart’s not a stranger to Fitness Superstore—he had previously come to us when he was in need of a bench, so his search for new equipment didn’t take long.
“I had previously purchased a bench from Fitness Superstore and was impressed with the company. I visited the Northampton Showroom and met Leon Hogan. We got on well and he was very knowledgeable. We discussed what I wanted and he designed it for me. It was two treadmills, two spin bikes, and elliptical trainer, weights, a weight rack, dumbbells, kettlebells and a multi-gym.”
Leon created a free 3D design for Stuart, positioning the equipment in such a way as to make the best use of his space. After selecting the equipment he wanted and approving the final designs, Stuart opted for our helpful installation service, meaning he didn’t have to worry about building the products after delivery or clearing away the waste.
“It was a given that I would use your installation service. It would have been impossible to install all the equipment myself. They were BRILLIANT!”
